About us
Established in 1902, we are a local independent charity providing activities and support for children and young people with learning and/or physical disabilities and their families. You can read a bit more about our history here.
Each month, we can have around 400 visits from children and young people, around 250 visits from parents and carers and around 50 visits from volunteers.
Our fully accessible play and activity centre opened in 2005. We completed this independently following a period of intensive fundraising and we remain so grateful to everyone who supported us. This was a massive undertaking for our small organisation, and we are extremely proud of our purpose built premises. Have a look at some pictures here.
