Volunteering with us
Pre-pandemic, we had on average a sixty strong group of volunteers, including our voluntary management committee and board of trustees.
Volunteers

We need volunteer "Play/Youth Workers" to help children and young people with extra support needs enjoy youth club type activities on one evening each week: either a Monday, Tuesday or Friday evening, from 6.20pm until 8pm.
Keen to volunteer?

Rather than send out application forms, we would much rather meet you! Contact us, and we’ll arrange a time for you to come in and chat about exactly what’s involved in volunteering with us (it should take around half an hour). If we’re all happy, then we can go on to explain the paperwork involved, and get the ball rolling!
Volunteer training

The best way to get to know people is to spend time with them! We offer lots of practical support to volunteers on our evening youth groups, and to build on what you learn during our groups, we have an annual training programme too.
*Covid updated* We are now resuming the recruitment of new volunteers for our evening groups, and welcoming back our current volunteers. Hurray!
